Ms. Day has represented homeowners associations in construction defect litigation since 1997. Her legal career began as a litigation paralegal, working for 16 years in construction law, securities litigation, contract disputes, class actions, personal injury, environmental litigation, and construction defects.
Ms. Day was a litigation associate and eventually a partner at Berding & Weil, LLP from 1997 until 2009. She joined Hughes Gill Cochrane, P.C. in 2009, where she continues her litigation career in construction defect and earth movement issues. Ms. Day has represented homeowners associations and single family owners in litigation involving construction defects, landslides, representative actions, and contract disputes, and has tried multiple construction defect and landslide cases.
Admitted to the California Bar in 1997, Ms. Day received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana in 1980, and obtained her law degree from San Francisco Law School in 1997.
