Paul Engel

Associate Paul J. Engel came to the firm in 2011 after practicing for five years as a title insurance claims attorney. He has participated in the resolution of a variety of real estate and insurance disputes including easement issues, escrow claims, coverage matters, mechanic’s lien disputes, and a variety of matters involving senior liens and encumbrances on real property. Mr. Engel represents homeowners associations in all aspects of their day-to-day operations, including governing document analysis, interpretation, revision and enforcement, management of commercial relationships with vendors, and representation of homeowners associations in member disputes.

Educational History

Mr. Engel obtained his Bachelor of Science degree in Journalism from South Dakota State University in 1999 and his Juris Doctor from Southern Illinois University in 2005.

Bar Memberships

Mr. Engel became a member of the California Bar in 2005, has passed his California Department of Real Estate Broker’s Exam (license pending), and holds an Illinois Mediator’s Certification.
