Erica L. Brynes

Associate Erica Brynes joined the firm in 2006. Ms. Brynes represents homeowners associations in all aspects of their day-to-day operations, including governing document analysis, interpretation, revision and enforcement, management of commercial relationships with vendors, and representation of homeowners associations in member disputes and litigation.

Ms. Brynes' previous experience includes a number of years spent as in-house counsel with Fidelity National Title Insurance Company, and as a commercial title & escrow attorney with First American Title Insurance Company. She began her legal career representing buyers, sellers, lenders and title insurance companies in residential real estate transactions in Upstate New York.

Educational History

Ms. Brynes received her Juris Doctor in 1997 from Roger Williams University School of Law in Bristol, Rhode Island, and her Bachelor of Science degree in Telecommunications Management from Ithaca College in Ithaca, New York in 1994. She was born and raised in Rhode Island, which, she maintains, is still the biggest little state in the union.

Ms. Brynes has been a member of the State Bar of California since 2001, and a member of the State Bar of New York since 1998.
